Inspired by his collaborations in both theatre and dance, the self-taught composer and musician George Poulios, showcases the concert-performance trespassing. On stage, between three sewing machines and a steam press, he attempts to retrace his primary musical references, conveying the beauty in combining disparate elements.

Ο Μάκης Παπαδημητρίου σκηνοθέτησε τα «39 Σκαλοπάτια» και έδειξε τα συστατικά του καλού θεάτρου και της ακόμα καλύτερης κωμωδίας.

Η γραμμή της απλότητας διατηρήθηκε και σε αυτό το σημείο. Τα σκηνικά (Σάκης Μπιρμπίλης) είναι απολύτως λειτουργικά, χωρίς κανένα περιττό στοιχείο, περιλαμβάνοντας κυρίως το βασικότερο σκηνογραφικό στοιχείο από την εποχή της Αναγέννησης, που δεν είναι άλλο από το κάθισμα. Έτσι, στη σκηνή υπάρχουν καθίσματα που γίνονται μπαούλα, τραπέζια, κρεβάτια, καθίσματα τρένου κ.α. Ταυτόχρονα, το τόσο απλό και λειτουργικό σκηνικό καταφέρνει να αναδύει έντονα τη μυρωδιά της Αγγλίας και δή της Σκωτίας, συμβάλλοντας στη δημιουργία της θεατρικής ψευδαίσθησης. Οι τόσο έξυπνα και επιτυχημένα συμπεριλαμβανόμενες στη δράση βιντεοπροβολές (Ζίνα Παπαδοπούλου) δεν εξυπηρέτησαν απλώς την πλοκή, βρίσκοντας συχνά λύσεις σε σεναριακά ζητήματα, αλλά επέτειναν το κωμικό στοιχείο. Τα κοστούμια (Clare Bracewell) συνέβαλαν επίσης σημαντικά στην δημιουργία της αίσθησης πως ό,τι γίνεται επί σκηνής λαμβάνει χώρα στην Αγγλία. Με έντονο αγγλικό χαρακτήρα, ιδιαίτερα, καλοφτιαγμένα και επίσης εξαιρετικά λειτουργικά. Δε θα μπορούσε να απουσιάζει το κινησιολογικό μέρος (Σεσίλ Μικρούτσικου), το οποίο αποτελεί βασικό συστατικό αυτής της παράστασης, επαινώντας ξεχωριστά την Γρηγορία Μεθενίτη. Τέλος, οι φωτισμοί (Σάκης Μπιρμπίλης) προσέδωσαν την πινελιά προκειμένου να ολοκληρωθεί το σύνολο.
