Ovalimage is an Animation, Film and Sound Production studio based in Athens, Greece. It was founded at Oval, London in 2004 by Zina Papadopoulou and Grigoris Grigoropoulos.
Our aim is to tell stories, creating visuals and sound together.

Zina Papadopoulou is an independent director, animator and visual artist. Her passion is to visualize her own worlds, mixing video, animation and photography. She studied Graphic Design at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and took her Master’s degree in Animation at the Utrecht School of the Arts, the Netherlands.
Grigoris Grigoropoulos is a Greek Composer and Sound Designer. He has studied Sonology in the Royal Conservatoire, the Hague and took his MPhil in Music Composition at the University of Birmingham.
He is interested in creating aural spaces, illuminated by sound.
